It may be that I'm just not always that observant, but here are some resourses I missed going through the Crash Course. Stencyl actually officially includes a lot of stuff to help you get started, so be aware of them and take advantage of it!
Complete block encyclopedia: Where to find specific information on each code block. Beware, I think they are still working on this and its very new!
Forums: This link specifically takes you to the Forums > Shared resource > Guides and How-To's. But in general the forum is where you go when you can't figure things out.

StencyForge is a priceless place to acquire resources for beginners. If you need some tiles, sounds, graphics, behaviors, anything for a game you can get it here. Its all free to use, download, and no restrictions. Not everything in here is very good quality, but maybe your looking for that too?

This is a list I found somewhere that helped a lot.
